Our weekly Self-Defense Open Sparring class is designed for civilians and first responders who want to pressure-test their training in a controlled but high-intensity environment. This sparring-focused session blends scenario-based drilling with live resistance training against real threats, including: Edged weapons – Survive and counter knife attacks. Blunt force threats – Defend against clubs, bats, and improvised weapons. Unarmed combat – Develop timing, control, and effective countermeasures against aggressive attackers. What to Expect: Realistic Scenario Drills – Train against the most common real-world threats and sharpen your reactions. Live Sparring Rounds – Test your spacing, timing, and defensive tactics against a resisting opponent. Fight Through Adversity – Learn to manage stress, fatigue, and chaos under controlled pressure.
